In order to finalize the integration on our side, we’ll need four specific items of information from you referenced below. To make this easier, we’ve highlighted the required information in the instructions so you’ll know exactly when to gather them. Please remember to email those details back to us once you’ve completed the steps below:

Information to Send ODF:

ShipStation Plugin Installation & Authentication Key Setup 

1. Download the ShipStation Integration plug-in to your computer. *This plug in requires the use of WooCommerce 2.2+

2. Log in to your WooCommerce administrator portal.

3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
   

4. Click Upload and select the plugin zip file from your computer, then click Install Now.

5. Click Activate Plugin after the installation is complete.

6. Go to the WooCommerce menu, then select Settings.
   

7. Click the Integrations tab.
   If you have any other integrations connected to WooCommerce, you may also need to click ShipStation below the tab bar.

8. Copy the Authentication Key and save it to provide to ODF
   
   

1. Click Save Changes when you're done.
   
   

How to Get Your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret:

1. Go to: WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.
   

2. Select Create an API key OR Add Key. You’ll be taken to the Key Details screen.

3. Add a Description.

4. Select the User you would like to generate a key for in the dropdown.
   
   

   (For ODF clients, there are no specifications required for this. Clients typically do this for their own user.)

5. Select a level of access for this API key: (ODF has no requirements for this option)

   • Read access

   • Write access

   • Read/Write access
     

6. Select Generate API Key, and WooCommerce will create API keys for that user.

7. Now that the keys have been generated, you should see the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, a QR Code, and a “Revoke Key” link in red text.
   
   

   • Locate your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret and write them down to provide to ODF.
     
     

     Once you close this screen, you won’t be able to view the full Consumer Key or Consumer Secret again. If lost, you’ll need to revoke the existing keys and generate new ones
